iSudoku has released its new 3.0 version since 1st October, 2010. It adds quite a few sudoku solving techniques, enhances the user interface and supports many customizable features. Below are a list of new features added in iSudoku v3.0:

1. The following techniques were added for solving and generating puzzles:

   • Avoidable Rectangle (Type 1 - 2)

   • Remote Pair

   • XY-Chain

2. Added printer support.
3. Added support to customize puzzle difficulty levels.
4. Added support to customize colors and introduced color themes.
5. Enhanced mouse input.
6. Added support to shortcut keys and enhanced keyboard input.
7. Added configuration file in XML format.
8. Enhanced software safety.
9. Fixed a couple of legacy bugs.
10. Other miscellaneous modifications.

The latest version 3.0.4 fixed a few bugs in the program.
